Who we are
SearchUnit is responsible for the personal data processed on this site. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
What we collect and why
We collect only what is necessary to operate the service:
- Account: name and email for identification and communication.
- Domains and URLs: addresses you provide to generate reports or use the free tools. They are processed to produce the result and are not stored after the check.
- Access logs: IP address, date/time, and page visited, kept for 90 days for security and debugging.
- Anti-bot protection: when you log in, register, or use free tools, we process a token via Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish real users from automated traffic.
- Language preference: stored in the browser session to personalize your experience.
Cookies
We use CookieYes to manage cookie consent. A banner appears on your first visit and non-essential cookies are only activated after your explicit approval. You can change or withdraw your choices at any time through the cookie preferences panel.

Who we share data with
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. We share only with the partners needed to run the service:
- Infrastructure: servers and database.
- Google Analytics: usage metrics, only after your consent.
- Cloudflare: anti-bot protection in forms and tools.
- CookieYes: cookie consent management.
Some of these partners may process data outside Brazil, under contractual protections equivalent to those required by Brazilian law.
How long we keep it
- Account data: while the account is active.
- Audit reports: according to your plan (from 30 days to unlimited).
- Access logs: 90 days.
- After account cancellation: data is anonymized or deleted within 30 days.
Your rights
You can, at any time:
- Access, correct, or delete your data.
- Receive a copy of your data in a structured format.
- Withdraw consent for analytics cookies through the preferences panel.
- Request anything else by email: [email protected]. We respond within 15 days.
Security
We use encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+), short-lived session tokens, and restricted access to production data. In the event of an incident, we will notify affected users within the legal timeframe.
Changes
Updates to this policy will be published on this page with a new date. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 15 days in advance.
